Richard Chiappetta
owner since 1996.
Richard started his own
construction business in 1985 in Maryland. In an effort to stay close to their families, Richard and his wife Tracey relocated
the construction business to Beaver County, Pennsylvania in 1988 after the birth of their first child.
In 1984, Richard and Tracey Chiappetta started Chip’s Construction Corporation
in Maryland. With the remodeling business so far away from home, we decided to relocate back to Beaver Falls in 1988 and change
the name to Richard Chiappetta Custom Building.
With the knowledge of building
custom decks, additions and new homes in the area, the opportunity to purchase Kitchen City in 1996 was a perfect fit. With
our experience of remodeling brought to the retail business, we not only sell kitchens and bath products to home owners, but
we can also guide them through the install process or we can complete the project with our own experienced craftsman.
In order to make the kitchen experience a smooth transition, the need to fabricate
laminate countertops in house seemed to be the answer. In 2003, we purchased a saw that enabled us to cut post form tops.
With this ability we noticed a quicker and more efficient job. By 2005 the hiring of employees that had the ability to build
custom bevel laminate and solid surface tops was necessary.
In 2006 we purchased
and remodeled the building adjacent to us. Being certified for solid surface countertops and being able to walk the customer
through our own top shop, we have established the confidence and the transition from design to finish we were looking to achieve.
With competitive prices and many cabinet lines to choose from, we feel confident that Kitchen City is your answer to a beautiful
kitchen.
